When Playing Casino Games Online

I know how addicting it is playing online. Not only that you get to play with your friends around the world in the comfort of your home, you also stand to win lots of prizes just like those offered on real life game stations. But aside from other online games available that are mostly enjoyed by tech savvies and other young netizens, there are also online casinos out there.

Well, online casino gambling may not be new to all of us but some are just scam sites and sometimes, they are those that crawl our computers and hack some of our information installed on it. This is why a lot of netizens are also careful in playing casinos online. Some are just unsafe to just play.

I suggest you visit the site first and explore it before signing up for something. Be sure that it is legitimate and friends of yours who are into this online gambling industry are also patrons of the site so that somehow, you'll be assured that the site is a safe haven of casino gamers.

Also, you may want to try some of the sample games before using it religiously. By that, you would know how the site works. Just be sure that you haven't given any information vital for hacking.

Smart Bro Micro SIM is Finally Here!

Wednesday, August 25, 2010

I remember a few weeks ago helping a celebrity I'm following on Twitter about her problem using her Smart SIM for her iPad. Back then, I was not aware that Smart has Micro SIMs that are suitable for iPad users. Globe was the first to introduce it to the local market.

Just this afternoon, I went to the Smart Wireless Center to get an update about my pending dispute for my Smart Gold account. While waiting for the frontliner, I saw a leaflet about the new Smart Bro Micro SIM which surprised me!

Well, I may not have an iPad but being a loyal Smart subscriber, I am really happy that Smart has finally come up with their own Micro SIM though ordinary SIM cards are also usable for iPads; just cut it the size of Micro SIMs.

Smart's Micro SIM is available for PhP 999 a month so for those who have iPads and other Micro SIM-enabled gadgets, get this one now to enjoy 'fast connection and nationwidest coverage!'

My Thoughts about the Philippine Hostage-Taking Crisis

Monday, August 23, 2010

After a very long time, I never really thought that I'll be back blogging with this very sad and frustrating news. I know. Philippines is back to the spotlight with this bus hostage incident.

I am worried about our economy particularly our tourism which will definitely be affected with this news. But what made me think over and over was the victims themselves. They are all Hong Kong nationals and all they wanted is to enjoy their stay here in the Philippines. But look at what happened to them.

The media may have done an excellent job in broadcasting live but do they really care for the accident and to the concerned hostages? We were being watched worldwide. The way our PNP failed to rescue the hostages is also being broadcasted worldwide. What a shame!

I pray for the souls of the victims, for the Filipinos who will be directly affected with this incident and to the hostage-taking cop, Senior-Inspector Rolando Mendoza who started this tragic news. God bless the Philippines!

Lose Weight Quick!

After I graduated from college, I instantly became a big man - literally! I mean, way back in my early years in college, I was one of those whom you can consider as malnourished. I was so thin that I can feel every ribs I have whenever I touch my chest.

I guess, with all the stresses brought about by the academic loads and personal burdens, I became so fat that I can't imagine I could be. From a waste line of 29, I went as big as 34. In just a span of a year, I ballooned to this size that I had to change all my clothes to a bigger one.

But to be honest, I love my image today. I feel like I am so healthy. Still, I believe that not all people could really say that when they are fat, they are also healthy. That's why there are some fat ones who wants to lose weight quick

Though some people suggests that going to gym and having a proper diet is effective, I would highly encourage to take full discipline in every things you do - like eating the right amount of food and having a daily exercise. Some tips are also presented over at this link Lose Weight Quick. Do check it out.

Tips to Avoid Online Accounts being Hacked

Sunday, July 18, 2010

I just noticed that recently it's been very much alarming that a lot of our online accounts are getting hacked. From social networking sites like Twitter and Facebook to web and blog sites, they are all being hacked.

I, for instance, experienced how it is being hacked. Just last month, my Twitter account was hacked. Good thing, I was able to recover my password by requesting a new one to my email. But aside from me, bloggers like Palipasan and gnadeguzman have Facebook accounts that were hacked too. Celebrity Alessandra De Rossi's first Twitter account was also hacked that's why she opened a new one. In a blog post, raredog mentioned about his blog being hacked by Hack Boy.

What the hell is happening to cyberspace? But to avoid this hassle, I listed some notes on how to avoid these hacking:

1. Always log out in your online accounts when done doing your stuff specially when you're using a public computer like those in the internet cafes and multimedia libraries.
2. Use complicated passwords but are easy to remember on your end. Don't use the common passwords such as your birthdays, nicknames and the likes that are easily to be duplicated by hackers.
3. Stay private. Don't share your passwords to others even to your friends.
4. For bloggers and website owners, prepare a backup.

What about you? Have you experienced how it is being hacked? Share your thoughts!

I want an Android Phone!

Friday, July 9, 2010

I need it. I want it. I love it. Desperate? I guess I'm not. But I'll have it!

As I've blogged it yesterday, the newest Android-powered smartphone has just arrived in the Philippines. With an exclusive deal with Globe Telecom, Samsung Galaxy S is creating waves to all Filipino tech savvies. As compared with other smartphones available in the Philippine market, this is quite affordable (for those who can really afford the price). Taking this note from Jehzlau, Globe offers both prepaid and postpaid Samsung Galaxy S deals. The prepaid phone kit is being offered for as low as P14,900. Globe Postpaid package include P10,900 cash out for Plan 500 and free handset for Plan 1800.

I'm not really a techie blogger but I always dream of becoming one. I'm trying to catch up with the latest in technology. Those that are newly released and available in the local market are still making me crave to get at least one of them. But I can't... I can't afford even a single one.

Let me tell you about my Bebs, my Blackberry Curve 8520. She's a graduation gift from my Tita. The first time I got her,  I was really proud of myself having been BB'd! And now that I'm part of those who are in the BB community, I'm starting to feel the confidence and hope that one day, I can get all these stuff I wanted. Yes, I can't have them today. My part time work may not give me enough money to budget my dream gadgets. But surely, in time, I'll reach this point in my life where I can enjoy every new gadgets released in the market.

I don't want to make this post an 'emo' one but looking back into the contest proper question, Why do you deserve an Android phone? I can only say I desperately want it. Take a look at Jehzlau who didn't seem to know how to create a mascot other than a blue stick man  for his blog. Take a look at his 'good old buddy' Batang Yagit. They have something in common. No, not just being one of the 'idols' in the Pinoy blogosphere but they share the same persona online - simple yet big time bloggers!

Who would have thought a blue stick man can be a cool online mascot? Who would have thought that a Batang Yagit can make it online? Someday, I want to be like them - simple yet big timers! Silent bloggers. Shy-type persona. Mysterious aura.

Again, back to the contest proper question, Why do you deserve an Android phone? I can only say I desperately want it. Because both Jehzlau and Batang Yagit are (I'm not really sure about this) proud owner of Android phones.

No. I don't really need an Android phone. I just want it. No. I don't really love an Android phone. I just want it. No. I don't... know what to say... sorry..

I need it. I want it. I love it. Desperate? I guess I'm not. But I'll have it!

Note: To Jehzlau and Batang Yagit, sorry for the mentions. Just your fan here making notes of your similarities. Lols!
